There are three couples within the story. All three men work for the same firm. Bob Phillips from the first couple is having an affair with Fiona Foster who’s the wife from the second couple and when Bob and Fiona return home suspiciously late one night or early morning they invent a story about having to spend time smoothing domestic matters of the third couple Mr and Mrs Featherstone. Of course Mr and Mrs Featherstone have to show up to put the fat in the fire and the complications only add to the fun and confusion in this hilarious farce.

Des has been with The Charity Players since Sandie formed the group in 1993 and is the longest remaining member to date. He has participated in many various productions which include comedies / thrillers / pantomimes and murder mysteries.
Jane has been with The Charity Players since 2003 and has enjoyed playing many parts from a nurse to a village idiot. She is also a member of the committee too.
Andy joined The Charity Players 2022 where he stepped as character Terry in due to a cast member becoming too ill to commit. Since then he has participated in various events and productions and is a member of The Charity Players Karaoke Choir.
This is Deb’s debut with The Charity Players in playing a main character. She joined us for our annual panto 2023 and is loving every minute with the group. She is also a member of The Charity Players Choir.
Jude joined us in 2022 and has enjoyed being part of a variety show, pantomime and now playing this part. She has done acting before with another group in the past. She too is a member of The Charity Players Choir.
John has been with The Charity Players since 1998 and as filled many roles of acting in thrillers, comedies, murder mysteries and pantomimes. He is also a member of the committee and has been many different roles in this too.
