The Charity Players are delighted to bring the much-loved British comedy Dad's Army to the stage this October.

Join Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Corporal Jones, Private Pike and the rest of the Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard as they do their best to defend Britain with plenty of mishaps, misunderstandings and classic British humour along the way.

This special stage production brings together three memorable stories from the original BBC television series: Deadly Attachment, where the platoon are tasked with guarding German U-boat prisoners; Mum's Army, in which the women of Walmington-on-Sea decide it's time they played a bigger role in the war effort; and The Godiva Affair, where a wartime fundraising event soon descends into the sort of chaos only the Home Guard could create.

Packed with nostalgia, unforgettable characters and timeless comedy, this is a wonderful evening of entertainment for audiences old and new. Join us this October and enjoy three classic Dad's Army adventures brought to life on stage.

Shoe town big band & the charity players karaoke choir presents...

Big band, big voices!

Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of live music as Shoe Town Big Band joins forces with The Charity Players Karaoke Choir for a spectacular concert celebrating jazz, swing, pop and sing-along favourites.

Performed in a relaxed cabaret-style setting, this special charity event brings together two of Northampton's best-loved community groups for an entertaining afternoon of fantastic live music, great company and plenty of opportunities to sing along.

Your ticket includes a delicious cream tea, and tables of up to eight people can be reserved, making it the perfect afternoon out with family and friends. You're also welcome to bring your own drinks.

All proceeds from the event will help support two wonderful local charities: Northampton Saints Foundation and EVE, helping to make a real difference within our community.
